To get Your AIXS Unlocks and AIXS Stats for Your BFHQ in Your Game..You "MUST" re-direct the bf2web.gamespy.com of
Your Game.
There is 3 ways this can be done.
1. Use the BF2SPCC that AIX installed in your Game.....BF2SPCC.exe in Your Battlefield 2 folder.
2. Use the "hosts.ics" file in Your "C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc" folder
3. Use Treewalk DNS.....Use ONLY if the BF2SPCC or hosts.ics dont work.
1ST Method ..... Using BF2SPCC
NOTE: If Your BF2SPCC that came with AIX Crashes...go here and follow steps 1 - 5

On 1St run BF2SPCC should start on the "Setup" screen....small window above...if not click the "Force Setup"
button.
EA Profile..select the proper profile..when proper one is selected Your EA Username should be there.
Enter Your EA Password and PID....Your PID can be found ...\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\stats\Stats\pid.txt....look for Your
Player Name.
Click "Save" then "Done"
Welcome Tab...Select "Online Profiles" then select Your Profile...then select AIX2 in Mods
MultiPlayer Tab...click "ADD Host" ....smaller window above should come up.
Be sure to UN check the EA box on Stats System....enter all info
"ASP Address" 92.48.201.83 for Conquest 92.48.201.84 for COOP
click add host then done
click refresh and pick Your Server....if Your Server info looks correct...click the Launch AIX2
If all works right You should get AIXS Stats for Your Game in BFHQ and Your UNLOCKS.
If it dont work you can try Method 2
Method 2
Using the "host.ics" file in Your "C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc" folder
download the proper "hosts.ics" file ....there is one for Conquest and one for COOP
for Conquest

NOTE: there is a file already in that folder called just "host" DONT MESS WITH IT...JUST COPY IN hosts.ics
Now ping bf2web.gamespy.com from a "Command Prompt Window" .....from Your Windows "Start Button" select "Run" and
type in CMD
In Command Prompt window type ping bf2web.gamespy.com
IP should show 92.48.201.83 for Conquest...........92.48.201.84 for COOP
NOTE: if the IP comes back as 207.38.10.110 .. your redirect is not working
if the IP shows as 92.48.201.83 .....start your game and you should get Your AIXS Stats and UNLOCKS

Treewalk DNS
NOTE: Read Carefully and follow instuctions STEP BY STEP ... |M| Budo7 and Myself have been the only
Ones that had to resort to Treewalk so far
1. Download TreeWalk DNS HERE.

.a) for our AIX CDB gpm_cq HERE.

http://www.tigercage.de/downloads/treewalk_config_coop.zip3. Install TreeWalk DNS with Basic Defaults Setup.
4. After installation of TreeWalk DNS reboot your server.
5. After restart go to "Start" -> "Programs" -> "TreeWalk" -> "service" -> "Stop DNS service"
6. Unzip the downloaded treewalk_config_XX.zip (null.zone.file and filter.conf) to the dns-directory of TreeWalk, default is C:\Windows\System32\dns\etc - check for the appropriate directory on your machine.
7. Overwrite the existing "filter.conf" when a pop-up box asks for confirmation.
8. Start TreeWalk again: "Start" -> "Programs" -> "TreeWalk" -> "service" -> "Start DNS service".
9. Flush DNS Cache: "Start" -> "Programs" -> "TreeWalk" -> "tools" -> "Flush DNS cache".
10. Open a DOS box with "cmd" and type: ping bf2web.gamespy.com
11. You should get as responding IP
.a) the IP of the AIXS gpm_cq CDB: 92.48.201.83
.b) the IP of the AIXS gpm_coop CDB: 92.48.201.84
